The Genesis

India is the World's 2nd largest producer of Fruits & Vegetables (F&V), producing more than 300 million tonnes every year. However, we waste more than 40% of our harvest, in the post-harvest supply chain. The inefficiencies in the traditional supply chain lead us to a situation where, on one hand we waste millions of tonnes of produce, on the other hand we have millions who go to bed half-fed. We believe Supply Chain & Technology together can solve this problem greatly!! Given Selvam, Senthil & Amresh's combined capabilities around Supply Chain, F&V and Technology - Wheelocity was founded to transform the way F&V is moved & processed in India!
